To provide instruction on creating or editing diagrams in Lucidchart

Procedure
Create a diagram
Open the Lucid dashboard (ADD LINK)
In the left column, select
Documents
and then select
Team Folders
Select
Miami Diagrams
and then select the appropriate application folder
Once in the folder, click the
New
button
Select
Lucidchart
and then select
Create from Template
In the All Templates column, select
All templates
Select the appropriate Miami-approved template:
MU Template Physical Diagram
MU Template Logical Diagram
Click the template icon
In the template window, click the
Use template
button
In the upper-left screen, rename your diagram following this format:
[Application] [(Asset number)] [Physical / Logical] [Creation date]
Example:
Lucidchart (1407771) Physical 03.26.2024
Add, change, or delete elements to create and complete your diagram
In the upper-left screen, click the arrow next to
Draft
and change the status of your diagram
While Lucidchart automatically saves your progress, you can also click the
File
tab and select
Save
from the drop-down menu to save your diagram
Click the
File
tab and select
Share document
from the drop-down menu to email your diagram to collaborators
Click the
File
tab and select
Export
from the drop-down menu to save your diagram as a PDF
Edit a diagram
Open the Lucid dashboard
In the left column, select
Documents
and then select
Team Folders
Select
Miami Diagrams
and then select the appropriate application folder
Double-click on the appropriate diagram icon
In the upper-left screen, rename your diagram following this format:
[Application] [(Asset number)] [Physical / Logical] [Creation date]

Lucidchart (1407771) Physical 03.26.2024

In the upper-left screen, click the arrow next to

While all changes are automatically saved, you can also click the
File
tab and select
Save
from the drop-down menu to save your diagram
Click the

tab and select
Share document
from the drop-down menu to email your diagram to collaborators

tab and select
Export
from the drop-down menu to save your diagram as a PDF
