Objective

• How do I access Slack?

Resolution

• You are required to have either a paid (full) or guest (single-channel) account in the MiamiOH-IT Slack workspace prior to attempting to log in
  • Request: Slack / Access to MiamiOH-IT.Slack

Website access 

1. Open a new tab and go to https://miamioh-it.slack.com/
2. Click Sign-in with Azure if you have a paid account, or click I have a guest account if you have a guest account 
   • If logging in with Azure, use your MiamiOH email address and Miami password
   • If logging in with a guest account, use your email address and the Slack password you set up the first time you logged in

Mobile access (Slack App)

1. If prompted, add a workspace
   • Tap Sign In with Workspace URL
   • Enter miamioh-it (https: and .slack.com should be auto-filled) 
2. Tap Sign in with Azure if you have a full Slack account, or tap Sign in with Email if you have a guest account
3. Follow the remaining prompts to log in
   • For a paid license, enter your <UniqueID>@MiamiOH.edu email and Miami password, then follow the two-factor prompts
   • For a guest license, enter your email address and Slack password that you set up from the invitation email
