Record or rerecord name pronunciation in NameCoach / Canvas

Objective

• How do I use NameCoach in Canvas environment?

Resolution 

From the Account Profile

1. Click on Account from the Canvas navigation menu and then choose NameCoach Account Profile
2. Choose the RecordName button from the page
3. Follow the prompts to record and save your NameCoach recording. It is recommended that you choose the Phone option to record your name. Enter your phone number and click the Call me now button. This will prompt you to record and save your pronunciation. Once completed, your NameCoach profile and classes you are registered for will have your profile

From the Course page

1. Choose Dashboard or Courses from the Canvas navigation menu and navigate to one of your courses
2. From the Course menu, choose Student Name Recordings
3. You will see recordings for other people enrolled in the course, and you will also see a box with your name in it and a button to record your name
4. Follow the prompts to record and save your NameCoach recording.  It is recommended that you choose the Phone option to record your name.  Enter your phone number and click the Call me now button. This will prompt you to record and save your pronunciation. Once completed your NameCoach profile and classes you are registered for will have your profile
