Mission
- To provide guidance and leadership to a collaborative community of faculty, staff, and students to improve understanding and utilization of the DocuSign service (the “Service”) at Miami University
Purpose
- The primary function of the DocuSign executive steering team is to provide policy guidance and an advisory role to the University community. We shall identify, cultivate, and support activities that ultimately increase the number of users of the service at Miami University (the "University")
Composition
- Steering team members shall consist of individuals from multiple divisions across the University. All members are considered to be volunteers who bring unique and valuable perspectives. Membership shall be determined based on the needs of the University and shall grow or shrink as these needs manifest. New members shall be added or removed based on a majority vote by the existing steering team

Accountability
- The Service Account / Service Owner or their designee shall be considered accountable for managing the steering committee functions. The steering team shall not be considered accountable to any individual division or division leader
Responsibility
- The steering team has a responsibility to
- Advise, assist, support, or set policy concerning the utilization of the service
- Offer recommendations or review recommendations for enhancements of the service
Meetings and Minutes
- The steering committee shall meet formally at least once a quarter
- The steering committee shall utilize Slack for internal communication: #docusign
- Service documentation will be stored in the Google Drive folder
- Training documentation for the service will be stored in the Canvas course site
- Knowledge articles shall be stored in the Knowledge Base: DocuSign category
