Miami Email / Send email as a delegate in Gmail

Objective

  • To provide instruction on sending email as a delegate when:
    • You want to send email on behalf of another user

Environment

  • Miami Email
  • 10262: Google Mail (email e-mail)

Resolution

  1. Before executing the following steps, ensure that delegate access has been implemented as described in Miami Email / Allow a delegate to access to my account
  2. Log in to your email account
  3. Click your user icons in the upper right, then select the delegated account
    • It will be denoted with a Delegated tag
  4. A new tab/window will open with the delegated account's inbox
    • You can now send messages for the delegated account in the normal manner
