Environment

Resolution
- Ensure you are connected to MUVPN if trying to access Remote Lab from off-campus
- To reserve a remote lab machine, navigate to Miami's Remote Lab portal
- Sign in with your UniqueID and password — do not use IT\ in front of your login
- Once logged in, you will be shown computer pools to which you have access and the number of available machines
- If you have access to multiple computer pools, select the appropriate pool in which you wish to reserve a computer
- Select Make My Reservation and a computer will be reserved for you
- Select Connect to Remote Lab and an RDP connection file will be downloaded
- In most cases, you will have 30 minutes to connect to your reserved computer before the reservation is lost
- Double-click on the downloaded RDP file
- You may see a security warning: Select Connect or Continue
- Enter your MUnet password and select OK or Continue
- When you have finished your work, log off the machine and it will return to the pool and be available for other users
- There may also be limitations on a session time to ensure machines remain available

- Pools are assigned by MU Libraries IT support for access to Remote Lab
