Wireless Network / Wi-Fi networks do not appear on my computer


  • To provide instruction on troubleshooting and managing the wireless network on your computer
    • When your computer does not register a Wi-Fi network

General troubleshooting

  1. Restart your computer
  2. Take your computer to another location and see if any wireless networks appear
  3. If your computer has an antenna button or switch, check to make sure the Wi-Fi antenna is enabled
  4. Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on your computer


On macOS


On Windows 10

  1. Select the Start menu
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Wi-Fi
  4. Select Change adapter options
  5. Right-click on your Wi-Fi connection and select Enable
