Lifetime Email / Access a MUOhio.edu or MiamiOH.edu email account

Objective

• ]To provide instruction on accessing an MUOhio.edu or MiamiOH.edu email account

Environment

• 10262: Google Mail (email e-mail)
  • Lifetime Email
• 10282: Lifetime Email for Alumni Sign-up Form

Cause

• Miami email — including Lifetime email — is powered by Google
  • The domain changed from MUOhio.edu to MiamiOH.edu
  • Email sent to your MUOhio.edu address is automatically forwarded to your MiamiOH.edu account
  • The MUOhio.edu is a domain alias and cannot be removed from your account.

Resolution

1. If you do not know your MUnet password, go to Miami's Password Utilities page and follow the prompts to change your password
2. Go to Miami's email page 
3. Enter your UniqueID and MUnet password to log in to your Lifetime email account
